Target Costing - Presentation at DIGICON 2021
Once a year, experts, users and interested parties meet at DIGICON for a joint exchange about the application platform cplace. As every year, we from 4Soft are involved in the conference and report about current projects and topics. This time it was about the first cplace project of the state capital Munich.
The presentation was announced with the following text:
The public administration is pursuing ambitious goals in the digitization of the different authorities. Here, the low-code platform cplace proves to be an ideal tool to unify a heterogeneous IT landscape and to standardize and merge processes and data. Using the example of a target costing application of the Civil Engineering Department of the City of Munich, we will show in this presentation how existing Excel applications can be migrated to the cplace platform in an agile and systematic manner. We will describe the basic approach as well as the success factors and experiences in a concrete project and in general with the domain of target costing.
